As is known to us all, a good teaching method requires that the teacher should help students develop good sense of the English language. For achieving these aims (after the analysis of the teaching material and teaching aims), I will use the following methods according to the modern social communication teaching theories (现代社会交际教学理论). 1. 在我校高中阶段,英语学习是不少学生的薄弱点,在各学科中,英语学习的困难居其它学科之首(尤其对男生),导致很多学生对英语学习失去了兴趣和信心,相当一部分同学比较被动或非常被动,甚至放弃了对英语的学习。但这个班的学生英语基础比较好,学习积极性高,朝气蓬勃,求知欲强,在思维上有很强的性。学生能从一般的文字资料中获取主要信息,能针对问题表达自己的见解,同时能与他人合作,解决问题并报告结果,也能够利用一些教育资料进行自主学习。另外,学生的学习能力较强,可以当堂有效地完成学习任务。

效果分析

通过本节课的教学,现对教学效果进行分析:

1. 教学效果显著,学生能够完全地掌握文章内容,不同层次的学生均有收获,有效地达成了教学目标。

2. 学生思维活跃,积极进行合作探究学习,整个课堂学生都能积极地参与到课堂教学中,真正地成为课堂的主人。 3. 师生交流和谐,课堂学习氛围良好。 4. 课堂训练题设计层层深入,检测效果好。

5. 在后面的思考和讨论中,学生们在完成教师设计的教学任务时,

也接受了相应的情感教育。

6. 在评价学生展示成果时,还要注意评价语言的丰富性。

教材分析

本单元以Inventors and inventions为话题,旨在通过单元教学,使学生了解发明和发现的区别,了解发明创造的过程和获得专利的条件,学习发明家的成功事例;能灵活运用基础句型描述中外古代和现代发明,谈论不同发明的优缺点及其现实意义;根据不同问题及条件设计、改进发明并阐述自己的观点;能对别人的发明、创造或观点提出意见或建议;并能运用所学知识利用现实生活中有限材料进行发明创造。

3.加强课堂语言的学习,使语言更加精炼、准确、丰富。 4.平时加强对学生口语的训练,鼓励学生大胆地说英语。

课标分析

本单元的中心话题是“发明家和发明”。 Reading是一篇记叙性的文章,作者在文中详细介绍了从发现问题(snake trouble)、分析问题(products that might help)到解决问题(remove the snakes)的全过程,并介绍了专利申请方面的一些知识。本节课是本单元的第二课时,通过本节课的学习,学生应达到的目标是:

1、掌握阅读技巧,提高阅读速度和快速寻找信息的能力,培养分析和理解能力,深入理解文章。

2、在口头表达中做到语音语调自然流畅。 3、学会使用单词和习惯用语或固定搭配。 4、强调学生在语境中理解词汇的意义。

5、在学习中善于抓住重点,做好笔记,并对所学内容进行整理和归纳。 6、激发学生的学习兴趣,并引导他们、自主学习。 7、培养发明创造意识,造福社会。
