研究表明多吃鸡蛋会患心脏病的几率,增加死亡率,还有之前上学校的选修课营养学的老师说多吃煎蛋会增加患乳腺癌的几率。这到底是不是真有其事呢?我半信半疑。

【摘要】Reduction

in egg consumption has been widely

recommended to lower blood cholesterol levels and prevent coronary heart disease (CHD). Epidemiologic studies on egg consumption and risk of CHD are sparse.

【结论】:These findings suggest that consumption of up to 1 egg per

day is unlikely to have substantial overall impact on the risk of CHD or stroke among healthy men and women. The apparent increased risk of CHD associated with higher egg consumption among diabetic participants warrants further research.

【摘要】Intakes of animal protein, meat, and eggs have been associated with

breast cancer incidence and mortality in ecological studies, but data from long-term prospective studies are limited. We therefore examined these relationships in the Nurses' Health Study. We followed 88,7 women for 18 years, with 5 assessments of diet by food frequency questionnaire, cumulatively averaged and updated over time. We calculated the relative risks (RR) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CI) for risk of developing invasive breast cancer, over categories of nutrient and food intake. During follow-up, 4,107 women developed invasive breast cancer. Compared to the lowest quintile of intake, the RR and 95% CI for the highest quintile of intake were 1.02 (0.92–1.14) for animal protein, 0.93 (0.83–1.05) for red meat and 0. (0.79–1.00) for all meat. Results did not differ by menopausal status or family history of breast cancer. We found no evidence that intake of meat or fish during mid-life and later was associated with risk of breast cancer. © 2003 Wiley-Liss, Inc

【结论】:We found no evidence that intake of meat or fish by mid-life and older women over 18 years of follow-up was associated with risk of breast cancer. A modest positive association of egg intake and breast cancer risk in pre-menopausal women should be assessed further.

【摘要】Studies pertaining to health promoting behavior indaily life

have received scant attention among medicalanthropologists. The present study addresses thisissue by means of an empirical analysis of perceptionsand behaviors concerning a daily food item – eggs. Data were collected via in-depth interviews as well asparticipant observation in four retirement homes –two in Los Angeles and two in Taipei, Taiwan. Theresults reveal that practices of egg-restriction arepervasive throughout the four homes. Cholesterol hasbecome a commonly-discussed issue in the dailylives of the 203 residents interviewed, and many ofthem were found to be preoccupied with the riskinvolved in excess consumption (especially of egg yolks)and increased serum cholesterol levels. Four forces:health professionals, family members, peer groups andmass media play important roles in constructingegg-consumption behaviors among the elderly subjects. Thecognitive, psychological and behavioral impact ofhealth information on elderly subjects has beendiscussed herein. It may be argued that the eggissue reflects a shift in previous health paradigmthinking due to the biomedicalization of healthpromotion among Chinese elderly.

【摘要】Previous studies of the association of meat intake and

meat-derived mutagen exposure with breast cancer risk have produced inconsistent results. We evaluated this association in a population-based case–control study of incident breast cancer conducted in Nashville, Tennessee, United States, including 2,386 breast cancer cases and 1,703 healthy women controls. Telephone interviews were conducted to obtain information related to meat intake including amount, cooking methods, and doneness levels, as well as other known or hypothesized risk factors for breast cancer. Unconditional logistic regression was used to derive odds ratios (ORs) after adjusting for potential confounders. High intake of red meat was associated with a significantly elevated risk of breast cancer (P-trend < 0.001). The association was particularly strong for high intake of well-done red meat (P-trend < 0.001), with an adjusted OR of 1.5 (95% CI = 1.3–1.9) for the highest versus the lowest quartile. Associations between red meat and breast cancer risk were slightly stronger for postmenopausal women than for premenopausal women. Meat-derived mutagens such as 2-amino-3,8-dimethylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoxaline and 2-amino-3,4,8-trimethylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoxaline, were significantly associated with increased breast cancer risk among postmenopausal women only (P-trend = 0.002 and 0.003, respectively). The results from this study provide strong support for the hypotheses that high red meat intake and meat-derived mutagen exposure may be associated with an increase

in breast cancer risk.

鸡蛋的摄入量与乳腺癌、心脏病并没有确切的联系。目前还没有证据说明鸡蛋的摄入量会导致乳腺癌或心脏病的发生。我也达到了我搜索的目的了。

检索总结:

百度,谷歌,SOSO这些都是我比较喜欢用的搜索工具。我最常用就是百度了。我个人认为百度上找的东西很乱七八蹧的都有,所以感觉不权威。在Google Scholar 上找的信息我觉得可信程度会高些。我用的是宽带,所以享受不了图书馆的资源。好讨厌在维普网的高级检索里搜不到东西。Science Direct、中国期刊网、超星等都进不去,只能进入Springerlink 。但是Springerlink是英文,看起来很费劲,不太会用。

总而言之,基本上都没有检索过什么文献,所以整个检索过程并不很顺畅,花费的时间也比较多。

现在基本上会使用检索工具找到自己想要的东西了,也感到很开心。希望自己以后多观察身边的事,多查找自己感兴趣的话题,找出相关的文献,判断是与非。
