摘要：A synchronizer for transmissions, wherein the surfaces of the recesses (25), inwhich the locking claws (24) of an outside ring (6) are fitted, and formed in a synchromeshcone (18) so as to extend in the circumferential direction thereof are tapered, wherebythrust toward a clutch hub (2) is generated in the outside ring (6) during a synchronizingoperation. The outside ring lightly contacts a block ring (5) before a shifting operation isstarted. One side surface of the outside ring can be brought into close contact with a sidesurface of the clutch hub by a thrusting action of the outside ring.
