摘要：A method of assembling a stationary assembly for a dynamoelectric machineincludes associating at least one beam in a preselected assembly position with a core atleast adjacent a circumferential portion thereof. A set of sections of the core at leastadjacent the circumferential sections thereof are deformed into gripping engagementwith the at least one beam, respectively, and thereby the at least one beam is retainedagainst displacement from the selected assembly position thereof.
