摘要：The system includes a number of cells which cover a predetermined zone, withthe end cells (B1,B2) in the zone having a beacon frequency. The propagation time for a
signal from a base station to a mobile unit (M) is measured. The propagation timemeasurement is used to determine the position of the mobile unit. From this position, thecell which the mobile unit is traversing can be found, and optimum handover can takeplace to that cell.
