摘要：A container for powdery, granular and pellet-like materials comprises areceptacle with an open front, a cover which overlies that open front, and a retainingmember that overlies the cover and holds it in place. For slidable securement to thereceptacle, the retaining member has rearwardly projecting channel portions along itsopposite side edges, defining laterally inwardly opening grooves that receive laterallyoutwardly projecting flanges on the receptacle side walls, at their front edges. Theretaining member is made of an elastomeric plastic impregnated with magnetizedmaterial and has a flat front face for magnetic adherence to an upright wall of arefrigerator or range. A hole in the retaining member registers with an aperture in thecover to provide a dispensing outlet that is normally open but is sealed by magneticattachment to a supporting surface.
