水利工程常用軟體下載網址介紹

本文所介紹的網址提供下載的軟體大部分為public domain（應可歸類為freeware）或shareware(共享軟體，有試用期限或得付費)，並且均為美國網站。本文內亦說明了下載軟體及相關文件檔案之步驟及注意事項，供有興趣者參考。

一、 U. S. Army Corp of Engineers(美國工兵團)

美國工兵團幾年來發展了不少為工程界常使用於水文及水利方面有名的軟體，這些軟體目前均可在本機構各相關網頁內下載，其中除了著名的HEC-1、HEC-2外，這個機構近年來針對個人電腦應用環境，亦陸續發展了不少軟體，近年來又將該機構所出版的各項文件（設計手冊、設計指引…等）以電子文件格式放置於網站供公眾下載，茲就個人所知介紹有關水利工程部分之軟體及文件，供有興趣者參考。

正常下載動作(如本文第七節所述)外，上述軟體檔案大部份超過一片1.44MB磁碟片之容量，為便於攜帶及傳送部份軟體另有已分割為數個不超過1.44MB之檔案供下載；而下載文件時亦得注意大部份同一文件各章節、各附錄均獨立為一個檔案，且因依章節編碼取名，造成不同軟體之文件檔名會重覆。

1. 軟體(執行程式)

不論使用IE或NS瀏覽程式，下載軟體的步驟大同小異，都是相當簡易的，基本步驟如下：以滑數左鍵點取要的檔案對象；告知要先存到

磁碟機內；告知存放位置(目錄)，接著在螢幕上會出現下載進行中之訊息，一般等到訊息視窗消失，就表示檔案下載完畢。

目前網路所下載之軟體大部份均已壓縮成為一個可執行檔，這類軟體執行後一般會自行解壓縮並直接安裝，少部份則為壓縮檔(副檔名為.zip或.arj較多)，這種情況下得先有對應之解壓縮軟體。

2. 文件檔案

不論使用IE或NS瀏覽程式，下載文件檔案的步驟亦是大同小異，都是相當簡易的，不過點取步驟中與下載軟體有些差異，基本步驟如下：以滑數右鍵點取要的文件檔案；告知存放位置(目錄)，接著在螢幕上會有在下載進行中之訊息，一般等到訊息視窗消失，就表示檔案下載完畢。

由於美國各網站所登錄之文件大部份為可攜式文件格式(副檔名為.pdf )放置於網路上，而目前這些文件大多是以Adobe公司推出之Acrobat程式製成檔案，因此要閱讀這些文件得有Adobe公司推出之Acrobat Reader軟體。Acrobat Reader軟體可以說是freeware，可自由上網下載，如在美國工兵團之網站即可下載，當然在各大shareware下載網站皆可找到。目前Acrobat Reader最新之版本為4.0，檔名為ar40eng.exe(英文版本)，有些網站上可能仍為3.02版本，檔名為ar302.exe。
