Reading is important

In my opinion, reading books is more valuable than anything else. As the old saying goes, “To open a book is always helpful.” Books are our friends because they introduce us different kinds of knowledge. Of all kinds of books, I like reading Children’s stories best. Sometimes they can make me sad, while sometimes they can make me happy. All in all, reading books can lead us down the road to success.

The importance of trees

Trees are very useful as well as important to people. They provide us with

wood and other products. They give us shade and they help to prevent droughts and floods.

However , some people haven’t realized the importance of trees. They cut them down , so our forest are disapearing.

In my opinion, protecting trees is necessary to us. We should plant more trees and take good care of them. Then we will have a more beautiful world.

A summer camp

This summer, I had some special days. I joined Dongfang international educational exchange summer camp.

first, I will tell you about our foreign teachers, they are Mary and Linda. They are friendly and beautiful. In fact, they are the students at oxford university.

We talked about many things, such as famous people, subjects in England, different jobs, and so on.

We know lots of things, like what the differences are between \"Chinese customs\" and \"Western customs\“all the parts of the body” in English and so on. We made a play and drew our own comics and tried to sell it. Besides, we gave some other students English lessons. In class we taught them about Chinese dragon, Chinese arts and the Olympics. Every afternoon, we played exciting games. On the last day, we had a good time. we made black tea. We put tea bags, some milk and lots of water into a big bowl, and then we stirred the tea until it became red and dark. oh, it tasted good! later, we used eggs, flour and milk to make many pancakes. to cook them is very interesting. When we finished it, the pancakes looked round and nice. We put some jam on it. How delicious! I will never forget it.

The summer camp is a really good chance for me. I know the local things in England. I learned a lot and like English more. I also know better ways to learn English well.

I hope one day I can this summer camp again.
