摘要：The present invention provides a uni-compartmental knee joint prosthesis ()which includes a tibial component () and a femoral component (). The tibial component ()has a fixation portion () adapted to be fixed to an upper end of a prepared tibia (T) in a
patient, and a bearing portion () presenting an articulation surface () formed from aceramic material, wherein the bearing portion () is adapted for movement relative to thefixation portion (). The femoral component () is adapted to be fixed to a lower end of aprepared femur (F) in a patient, and comprises a body portion () presenting anarticulation surface () formed from a ceramic material for engagement with thearticulation surface () of the tibial component (). The articulation surfaces () of the tibialand femoral components are adapted for essentially congruent engagement over a fullrange of movement of the prosthesis.
