摘要：There is disclosed a passenger transport installation in which a large number ofpeople can be efficiently transported between vertically-spaced two places (1, 2). Thereare provided stations communicating with a vertical elevator passage (6) or passagesalong which vehicles (17) can move upward and downward, and the vehicles (17) stop atthe stations to allow passengers to get on and off there. While passengers get on andoff the vehicles (17) at the stations, other vehicles (17) carrying other passengers canmove upward and downwardly along the elevator passage (6) or passages.
