Mount Lu
Mount Lu is located in the north of Jiang Xi Province, bordering Changjiang River in the north and closing Poyang Lake in the south-east. Mount Lu is praised as “The most beautiful mountain under the world” for the peculiar natural scenery. It is covering 302 square kilometers, including 16 natural wonders, 474 scenic spots and 171 peaks which is winding connected by overlapping ridges and peaks. Mount Lu has a long history and abundant cultural. In the early time of ancient time, our ancestors had left their remains. More than 2000 years ago, Sima Qian, a historian in Weston Han Dynasty, boarded Mount Lu and wrote it in Records of the Grand History of China. White Deer Cave Academy, the top of the four ancient academies of China, has a high reputation in the history Chinese education. Donglin Temple, built by an eminent monk in East Jin Dynasty, is the birthplace of Pure Land Buddhism. More than 1500 famous men have boarded Mount Lu at different time in history, and left about 4000 poems, 900 inscriptions on precipices, and countless paintings, calligraphy, and books. The remaining 600 villas which have different styles and shapes reflect the cultures of 18 countries and ethnics.
