通常我们在制作英文简历时都是采取直接翻译中文简历的方式,但是除了翻译后语言方面的准确度之外,还有一点很多人都会忽视的就是英文简历里某些栏目内容的书写格式。以学习经历为例就跟中文模式是不同的,我们可不能翻译完就不对其做出修改。
英文简历学习经历的顺序跟中文简历是完全相反的,是从最早学习经历开始到你最近的学习经历。所以做完后可得把顺序全部重新调整一下并且注意时间对好,不要出现时间方面混乱的现象。
除此之外不要忘记对中文简历里的一些内容进行调整,比如获得的外语证书、计算机方面的证书等就不必出现在证书荣誉这个栏目里,你可以把这些证书放在学习经历里,因为外国人已经将英语和电脑方面的能力视为一个求职者必须达到的要求。他们需要了解你的外语水平是否达到一定的水准否则如何在国外企业工作?连基本的语言都不通将会给工作带来很多问题而造成不良的结果。而计算机也是很基本的东西,办公群体连计算机基本知识都无法过关,那还可以做有运用到计算机方面的工作吗?
我们还可以在学习经历这部分内容里说明具体的外语水平,因为证书毕竟只是一张纸而已,让老外知道你的外语应用能力也是非常关键的。你可以通过参与过的外语比赛或者是否有过出国经历等方式表现自己的外语实际水平,如果参与过外语比赛那么获得了什么样的奖项,你的比赛作品主题又是什么?而你如果有过出国经历更能证明你的外语水平可以满足企业的需要。至于过于平淡而大众化的经历就不要出现在简历里,比如英语角这样的活动是没有什么影响力的,这种活动参与的对象也基本上是我们的同胞。 第二篇:英文简历经历表述

Experience & Activities: 四个字:结果导向(量化)
相信大家做了很多事情,也学了很多东西,然后很想把他们都放到简历上面去。很多人会说我干了我在某个学生会干了很多事情,比如组织活动,策划等等。或者实习中怎么怎么样了。。It's OK, but so what? 所以,这里最关键的就是: Action leads to Results。什么是Result呢?看看公司的年报,他们都有自己的Key Performance Indicator,那就是Result。Investor关心的就是那些,他们不关心你中途干了多么Fancy的事情(虽然很重要)。这个道理对HR是同样的。如果你的Action只是Action,没有Result的,那意义就不大了。这里可以举点例子:
-实习中:%的工作得到承认,Performance Assessment的评价系数,创造了多少收入,为XX部门提供了多少增长率,完成了%的指标。。等等
-学生会:Membership增长百分比(Marketing做的好不好的评价),Retention rate(人才培训做的好不好的指标),参加会议的人数(影响度),满意度(组织的成功度),Budget(规模)。。。反正一堆,关键是要有这个意识去想到这些。强烈每句话的开头的Action Words都不一样!针对申请职位需要的技能来设计Action words(附在了文章结尾)
Skills: 不要写无关的Skill,不要写Office,即使你觉得你Excel用的很好,在Experience里面表现出来。比如用Excel做了Valuation
Model,Scenario Analysis,Pivot Table等等。。
后话:
其实CL和Resume就是一个认识自己,展望未来的过程。虽然整篇文章强调了Results-oriented,但是这并不代表有些事情跟Results没有直接关系就不去干。。个人是不喜欢这种比较功利的思想,但是business is business。。Anyway,Enjoy your life, enjoy job hunting!

第四篇:如何 写英文简历
英文简历写法
英文简历的格式结构包括页眉部分、教育背景、工作经历和个人资料四部分。
1、页眉部分 1)名字
名字有7种写法:例如“李扬”:
1)Yang LI2)YANG LI3)Yang Li4)Yang Li5)Li, Yang6)Li Yang7)LI Yang
双字名,如晓峰,也有四种写法,例: 1)Xiao-feng2)Xiao-Feng
3)Xiaofeng4)Xiao Feng 2)地址
China后不必用PRC,因为用China简单清楚。邮编的标准写法是放在省市名与国名之间,起码放在China之前,因为是中国境内的邮编。
3)电话
Ⅰ.前面一定加地区号,如(86-10)
Ⅱ.8个号码之间加一个“-”,如6505-2266。这样,认读拨打起来比较容易,否则,第一次打可能会看错位。
Ⅲ.区号后的括号和号码间加空格,如(86-10)6505-2266。这是英文写作的规定格式。
Ⅳ.写手机或者向别人通报手机时,也有一定的规范,要用“4-3-4原则”,如“1380-135-1234”。
2、教育背景
1)时间要倒序,最近的学历要放在最前面。
2)学校名要大写并加粗,这样便于招聘者迅速识别你的学历。 3)地名 右对齐,全部大写并加粗。地名后一定写中国。 4)学历,可以把学历名称放在最前。
5)社会工作,担任班干部,只写职务就可以了;参加过社团协会,写明职务和社团名,如果什么职务都没有,写“member of club(s)”。
6)奖学金,一般用一句话概括。如果有多个,也争取用一句话概括。
3、个人资料
1)名称,有四种写法:Personal, Personal Information, Other Information, Additional Information。
2)语言,有几个层次。Native speaker of,Fluent in,English as working language,Some knowledge of等。
3)电脑,写熟悉的软件工具,熟悉的开发语言和环境。 4)资格证书,如CET4、CET6、TOEFL、GRE和GMAT,各类获奖证书等。
5)兴趣爱好 Ⅰ.写强项。 Ⅱ.只写两到三项。
Ⅲ.爱好要写得具体,不要只写sports、music、reading。 4、工作经历
对于正在工作的人,Experience应写在Education的前面,而对于在校生Education则应放在Experience之前。
1)工作经历顺序
Ⅰ 倒序,这是非常流行的方式。
Ⅱ 技能类别,这主要是为了强调自己的某种技能,如翻译、电脑等。
2)工作内容
Ⅰ 要用点句(bullet point),避免用大段文字。
Ⅱ 点句的长度以一行为宜,最多不要超过两行;句数以三到五句为佳,最多不超过八句。
Ⅲ 点句以动词开始。目前的工作用一般现在时,以前工作用过去时。Ⅳ工作成就要数字化,精确化,避免使用many, a lot of, some, several等模糊的词汇,应尽量使用具体的数字
3)五个避免
Ⅰ 长句:没有人愿意看太冗长的句子,雇主只是在扫描你的简历。Ⅱ 缩写:因为外行人往往很难看懂,不要先入为主的认为别人能猜到或者能查到你用的缩写。
Ⅲ “I”(我):因为正规简历多用点句,以动词开头,是没有“我”的。Ⅳ 不利因素:我们讲过简历的原则是不要撒谎,但不写不等于骗人。
5、学生简历
因为学生的工作经验很少,写不出东西来,显得页面不够丰满。要按我们在前面讲的格式,也很尴尬。因此我们在这里特别介绍一些弥补的技巧:
1)教育背景中写相关课程。但千万不要为了拼凑篇幅,把所有的课程都写上,这样不很有效,别人也没耐心看。
2)奖学金一项一行。许多学生每年都有奖学金,这样一来,也可写出三四行,甚至更多。
3)拉长句子。每个句子都可加入一些词拉长一些。 4)自然地多换行,多写点句。
5)加大字号。可将10号,小五改成12号,小四。
6)社会工作细节放在工作经历中。这样会填补工作经验少的缺陷。如学生工作、兼职、实习、实践,以至所曾参加的一些课外活动-协助助出版学校刊物、举办活动,展览、宣传等都可算是工作经验
7)中学情况一般都不写。不过如果你在中学时得过国际奥林匹克比赛大奖或全国性的大奖,不妨提上一笔。
6、特别注意
1)无拼写错误。现在文字处理软件都有拼写检查(Spelling Check),所以你根本没有理由拼错。
2)小心相近字。这是拼写检查查不出的错误,要尤为小心。 3)避免明显的语法错误。外企人士所谈的关于准备RESUME的技巧:

英文简历怎么写 日青
“RESUME”源于法语,含有摘要、大概的意思。一份好的英文简历,切忌拖沓冗长,辞不达意。
首先是个人资料部分(PERSONALDATA)
包括求职者的姓名、性别、出生年月等,与中文简历大体一致。 第二部分为教育背景(EDUCATION)
必须注意的是在英文简历中,求职者受教育的时间排列顺序与中文简历中的时间排列顺序正好相反,也就是说,是从求职者的最高教育层次(学历)写起,至于低至何时,则无一定之规,可根据个人实际情况安排。另外,大多数外企对英语(或其他语种)及计算机水平都有一定的要 求,个人的语言水平、程度可在此单列说明。
第三部分工作经验(WORKEXPERIENCE)
在时间排列顺序上亦遵循由后至前这一规则,即从当前的工作岗位写起,直至求职者的第一个工作岗位为止。求职者要将所服务单位的名称,自身的职位、技能写清楚。另外,欧美人很重视求职者的实际工作经验,所以,提及自己“工作时的培训(ONTHEJOBTRAINING)”,不失为一个聪明的做法。
第四部分所获奖励和作品(PRICE&PUBICATION)
将自己所获奖项及所发表过的作品列举一二,可以从另一方面证实自己的工作能力和取得的成绩。
第五部分自己感兴趣的领域(INTRESTEDFIELD)
将自己的工作意愿展示给潜在雇主,对于大多数求职者,尤其是搞技术或研究工作的求职者,这一点必不可少。同时,随着分工越来越细,将工作能力与工作兴趣相结合,不仅是求职者的意愿,对雇主来讲,也同样具有积极的意义。
不管是中文还是英文简历,其文体不是一成不变的。对于求职者来讲,目的明确、语言简练是其简历行之有效的基础。
