Winter Holiday Plans

Next winter, I'm going to have the best holiday ever! I can't wait for school to be over so I can start my fun adventures. There are so many exciting things I'm planning to do during my time off.

First of all, I'm going to sleep in every single day. No more waking up at the crack of dawn to get ready for school. I'll be able to stay up late watching movies or playing video games without worrying about being tired the next day. I'm going to savor every minute of not having to rush around in the morning. Once I've had my fill of lazy mornings, I'm going to spend lots of time playing outside with my friends. We're going to build the most epic snow fort the neighborhood has ever seen! It'll have tunnels, lookout towers, and even a secret hideout. We'll have epic snowball fights and see who can make the biggest snowman. If it's really cold, we're going to go ice skating at the outdoor rink downtown. I can't wait to show off my newly learned spins and jumps.

When I get tired of playing outside, I'm going to curl up inside with my favorite books and read for hours on end. I've

been wanting to start that new fantasy series all my friends have been raving about. The wintertime is the perfect opportunity to get lost in an imaginary world of magic and adventure.

I'm also going to spend lots of time with my family. We're going to have a giant gingerbread house building competition and see who can make the most creative design. I'm planning on using all sorts of crazy candies to decorate mine. Maybe I'll even add a licorice swimming pool! We're also going to go look at Christmas lights one evening. I love piling into the car in our pajamas with thermoses of hot cocoa to admire all the bright, twinkling displays.

And of course, I can't forget about the holidays themselves! I'm so excited to wake up on Christmas morning and see what Santa brought me. I've been really good this year, so I'm hoping for lots of great presents under the tree. I'm going to spend the whole day in my new pajamas, playing with my new toys and eating way too many sugar cookies. Then in the new year, I'm going to make a list of resolutions like eating more veggies and getting better at math.

Once the holidays are over, I'm not going to be ready to go back to school yet. I'm going to keep finding fun ways to spend my free time. Maybe I'll have a video game tournament with my

friends, or we'll have a big sleepover and movie marathon one weekend. I'm going to try my best to soak up every last second of the winter break.

When it's finally time to go back to school, I'm going to feel so rested and recharged. I'll be ready to tackle new challenges and see all my classmates again. But you can be sure that as soon as I walk through those classroom doors, I'll be counting down the days until next winter's holiday!
