World’s natural resources such as oil，forests and fresh water are consumed at an ever-increasing rate, what are the causes and how to solve it?
Resource shortage has become a worldwide problem that threatens the wellbeing of every individual. In the past decades, the consuming of natural resources such as petrol, forest and water is increasing in an alarming rate, far more beyound ever before. Strategies must be figured out and applied to protect resources right now, for which it is essential to clarify the factors that lead to this phenomenon.
The reason of vast resource utilization is mainly in two aspects: soaring human
population and the consequent fast economic development. The human population has become twice of it was twenty years ago and now even growing faster. This growth changes the profile of natural resource substantially. First, to construct human
community, a large amount of forest has disappeared from the map and transfer into houses and fuel. Then, more people to feed means more food need to be grown, which consuming fresh water considerably. Moreover, the increasing need of transporting people and properties worldwide leads to the severe problem of energy crisis. Solutions must to be applied to address this severe problem. An international
community should be set up to intervene in world affairs to protect natural resources. First, over logging should be strictly punished if not forbidden. Moreover, the collective consciousness of saving water resource should be encouraged in every corner in the world. Besides, funds and efforts should be jointed to develop new energy types to save the non-renewable petrol resource.
To sum up, the fast growing of human population and the economy need is the main reason of vast resource consuming. Only by joining the effort of every country and every individual in the world could we tackle the problem thoroughly.
