教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
1 、Greeting
2 、Play a game: 全班做一个反义词快速对答游戏的比赛。如：“thin”要求学生快速说出反义词“fat”。
Step 2 Presentation
1 、教师出示照片，向学生介绍：This is my friend Betty .She is a teacher .She is tall and thin .She is a nice girl .
2 、课件出示Panpan ,告诉学生：Panpan is got some new friends ,too .He would like to introduce them to us .Let’s see who they are .进一步向学生说明：大家以前学过对人物外形的描述，例如：I’m tall. She is short等等，今天我们要和Panpan一起学习如何描述人物的性格。

Step 3 课文教学
1、播放录音，请学生听一听Panpan对朋友们的介绍。
2、再播放录音，让学生边看书边听录音，用笔勾出课文中的生词和词组。
3、学习单词和词组：nice, a bit, clever, shy, naughty
a 听单词录音。
b 教读单词及理解意思。
c 让学生根据单词的意思加上恰当的表情。
d 采用多种方式朗读表演单词。（指名读，开火车读等）
4、出示课件，让学生认识课文中的人物：Maomao , Parrot ,Xiaoyong ,Ms Smart .
5、看图，理解课文内容。
出示句子：She’s a nice teacher . She’s nice . But she’s a bit shy .鼓励学生用这类语句造句，教师给予表扬。
6、学习并区分词组：very和a bit是表示程度的副词，分别表示“非常”和“有一点儿”，可修饰后面的形容词。
7、跟录音模仿读课文。

8、朗读训练（分组读，男女读，齐读）
9、分角色表演朗读课文。
Step 4 Practice
1、出示SB第一单元活动3的图片，让学生观察图片并运用This is……He/She is……的句型对人物性格的特征进行介绍。
2、让学生向同学们介绍自己的好朋友。

抄写单词及句子两遍。
