摘要：The present invention discloses a network connection method and apparatus,pertaining to the technical field of terminals. The method comprises: determining, in ascenario in which a network connection is established via a cellular network, whether awireless signal of a non-cellular network allowing connection is detected; if the wirelesssignal is detected, determining whether the service status of a data service beingcurrently processed meets a first preset condition, the first preset condition being thatthe service quality of the data service is not affected during a network connection modeswitching process; and when the service status meets the first preset condition,establishing a network connection on the basis of the wireless signal. The presentinvention can determine whether the service status of a data service being currentlyprocessed meets a first preset condition, and establish a network connection on the basisof a wireless signal when the first preset condition is met, thereby avoiding interruptionof the data service caused by switching of a network connection mode, ensuring smoothprovision of the current data service, and thereby improving network experience of auser.
