摘要：A method and apparatus for spectrum management in an xDSL system aredisclosed. The method mainly include: determining a transmit PSD mask according to acrosstalk status of a line; performing IWF operation using the transmit PSD mask; anddynamically managing line spectrum according to the result of the IWF operation.Therefore, various embodiments of the present invention allow the DSLAM performanceto approximate the OSM performance without the need for a center controller and witha rather simple algorithm in a severe crosstalk scenario. Moreover, the embodiments ofthe present invention may help to simply the design of DSLAM optimization system andachieve a proper balance between the DSLAM performance and the complexity.
