Lesson 10 教案1

Teaching aims:

1. Master the usage of the word “mind doing” and how to answer it.

2. To develop the students skills in speaking for specific information about requests and apologies. 3. To be able to help others in trouble and find the correct solutions to the complain .

Important points:

1. Learn to use the sentence “Would you mind doing......?” 2. Learn how to make requests politely 3. To learn to communicate in good manners.

Difficult points:

1. Learn to make requests and apologies politely. 2. Master the target language -Would you mind cleaning your room? -Ok .I’ll do it right away. -Would you mind not playing basketball here? -Sorry, I won’t do it again.

Teaching procedures:

Step 1 Greeting

The teacher and the students greet each other. Step 2 Presentation

1. Watch a cartoon “A polite fox” .

2. Retell the story and generalize the meaning of the story.

T: Do you like this cartoon? Can you retell this story? S:I like it .The cartoon is talking about a polite fox and a rude tiger .They’re both want to get some honey from a bear .Although the tiger is very strong, he didn’t get any honey from the bear. However, the fox is so polite that she getsome honey from the bear successfully. T: What can you learn from this story?

S: I understand that the polite is very important for us in our life. Everyone should be a polite man.

3. Look at the picture .Show many kinds of ways to make requests and show the most polite way is “Would you mind doing…..”.

4. Let the students understand the sentence. 5. Show some pictures and make more sentences with “Would you mind doing……?” Then teach them how to answer it. 6. Let’s expand

1) T: If we want to stop sb doing sth, what should you say? 2)Show the sentence “Would you mind (not) doing ……?” 3) Look and say.

Make conversations like this about the information of pictures with “Would you mind(not) doing….? ” Step 3 Practice 1. Let’s discuss

1) How to deal with the trouble. Help others in trouble and find the correct solution. 2) Learn to make some requests politely. Step 4 Homework

1. Review the grammar box .Ask students to say the statements and responses. 2. Ask students to talk about the differences among the different sentences. Step5: Remember

One never loses anything by politeness. (礼多不吃亏,礼多人不怪。)
